This two hour workshop is aimed at providing therapists with an understanding of the importance of functional breathing for everyday health and wellbeing along with the tools and knowledge to support clients with their conditions in the treatment room, between treatments and for years to come.
Improve Client Outcomes with Better Breathing Practices
This course could be helpful if you have clients presenting with chronic tightness and restriction in the neck and shoulders, shallow breathing into the upper chest region, redness around the sinus area, blocked sinuses, excessive sighing, susceptibility to colds and flu, dry mouth (especially at night and in the morning), snoring, receded chin, bad posture, bad breath, or crowded teeth.
In this 2-hour online course you will achieve:
- A clear and easy understanding of the anatomy and physiology of breathing.
- Up to date information and facts that demonstrate the importance of good breathing practises.
- Assessments tools to help you and your clients gauge progress.

Meet your Tutor – Laura van Tatenhove
Laura has had a yoga based breathing practise for 25 years and has studied breath work with Patrick McKeown (The Oxygen Advantage) and Lucas Rockwood (YogaBody).
Since 2022 she has run educational workshops in her area and advocates for simple, safe, effective and cost free first aid tools that bring better health to individuals and families.
